I have always been a lover of music. Since I discovered pop music on my mamma-jamma stereo in the summer of 1979, I have loved 70s music. As a woman now in my 40s (when did that happen?), I still ‘bang my head’ occasionally, but I also love to listen to contemporary Christian music. I love Third Day, I can sing most every Casting Crowns song ever recorded, and the melodies of Kari Jobe fill my iPod .
Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! Psalm 98:4 ESV
But when I am ready to really worship our heavenly Father, I always return to Jesus Culture. Oh, they just put me at the foot of the throne in the presence of the Almighty himself! If you have not heard their amazing worship – you are missing a blessing beyond measure.
Most songs start slow and build to powerful. Watch when you really have time to absorb it, uninterrupted.
And I’ve just discovered that Jesus Culture will be leading worship at Joyce Meyer’s 2013 Annual Women’s Conference in St. Louis Missouri September 12-14, 2013. I might just have call Delta for tickets! Woo Hoo!
